Konata is a crazed otaku at a young age. She appears to usually put games, manga, and anime before mostly anything else. Since she is so hardcore obsessed, she is very lazy when it comes to school work (she always copied her homework from her friend, Kagami). Even so, she is actually very intelligent and enjoys a good debate. She is also very athletic; P.E. was her best subject (though not her favorite). But, once again, her otaku ways make her not want to join any sports teams. She has proven to be a hardworker at times despite anything; being a pro in pulling all nighters before tests and getting a job to help pay for her "needs". She gets her tastes in games and anime from her father. Konata also expresses love for "moe" (adoration and an acknowledgement of a cute character towards a real human being). She loves to tease her friends and has a silly sense of humor. Her social skills are pretty good and has made friends in school and online games. She is compassionate towards her friends and anyone who is close.
Konata's mother died when she was little and was raised by her father. She is short for her age (not even five feet tall). Her favorite food is chocolate cornet bread and she loves to drink milk. She gets low marks in school (even though she really is smart).
Konata supports moe-ism XD.
